Telephone Consultations

You may have an idea or many ideas, but don't know what to do next. You may be afraid to tell any one your idea because you think they may steal it. Maybe you want to sell your idea to a company and collect royalties, but you don't know how to go about it.

You may need to do more research on your idea but you don’t have the time or technical knowledge. Should you get a patent? Does a patent already exist for your idea? Is your idea already on the market? You need to talk to someone, but you are not sure whom. Who can help you?

Following are easy steps to talk and discuss your idea(s) confidentially to us:

Initial Consultation

If you have an idea but are not sure what to do, where to go or who to trust then call The Inventor Guide for a FREE initial 24 minute consultation at no obligation. The initial consultation is a $50 CDN ($38 U.S.) value.

The Inventor Guide will discuss with you any topic or any questions you may have regarding the invention process. Our initial consultation will point you in the right direction to move forward with your idea.

Our consultations are confidential. We will send you our Non Disclosure Agreement (NDA) for you to sign and fax back. We understand the importance of confidentiality for our customers. If you have your own NDA, we are happy to sign it and fax it back to you.

We want to help you succeed with your idea. Our initial FREE consultation will help you to:

  • Save you at least $1000 in your journey as an inventor.
  • Understand the basics of intellectual property protection.
  • Know what to do next with your idea.

Initial Appointments

To schedule a FREE telephone consultation, please fill in our contact form with: your name, mailing address, telephone number, fax number, e-mail address, and the best time to contact you.

When we receive your request for a FREE telephone consultation, we will:

  • E-mail or fax you a signed Non Disclosure Agreement (NDA) within two business days.
  • Upon receipt of signed NDA by you, we will contact you within two business days to setup the initial consultation.

After our initial telephone consultation, you may wish to purchase further telephone consultations.

Purchasing Telephone Consultations

Move forward with your idea by purchasing a telephone consultation. All telephone consultations are strictly confidential.

  • To purchase further telephone consultation, please fill in and fax the Telephone Consultation Form (TCF) to us.
  • Upon receipt of TCF, we will contact you within 2 business days to schedule an appointment.
  • Appointments will be made within 10 business days of receipt of TCF.
  • We will not charge your credit card until the end of our telephone consultation.
  • You may purchase blocks of time in 12 minute increments. Minimum initial purchase is 24 minutes.
  • If our telephone consultation does not use up the time purchased, the remaining time may be used at a later date that is mutually convenient to both parties.
  • The remaining time must be used within six months of the original date of purchase.
  • Telephone consultations may be recorded for quality monitoring purposes.
  • At anytime within the six months you may add blocks of time in 12 minute increments.
